Defence, Police, Para-Military, to name a few, these are the professions that make us all proud. Direct To Customer – DTC. is an organization that has chosen such an area for its operations. The aim of this organization is to provide household appliances at the best prices to people of Kerala working in any military or police sector or retired from such sectors.

When we started thinking about the growing market of electronic products we were trying to indulge in it most effectively considering the style and the platform. We selected personal selling as the way and Kerala as the platform for very obvious reasons. We knew that nobody has opted DM as a method of selling electronic equipments. But our study showed ample scope for DM in the sales to individual customers as well as institutional purchasers.

While the customer is in the process of making a decision to own an electronic device, it is generally found that the customer is not well versed with the features of the appliance.

Secondly Kerala is a land of high literacy and awareness in the general fields. A sizeable chunk of population belongs to middle class and all strongly aspires to go up in the strata. They are looking forward to an opportunity to acquire modern equipment. What they need is precise information on the features, as well as guidance on resolving the issues preventing them from purchasing it at the said moment. That can be carried out by our professional and planned approach.
In this way we can project our expertise in this area and be the forerunners of this concept, and establish Samsung as the leader in this area.

To approach, advice and guide customers about the broad-ranging benefits of modern gadgets. Help them make a judicious decision to acquire a quality product. Give inputs to use it to the maximum of their benefit. Maintain a long-term relation with every customer -advice him on the latest developments in this field and act as a consultant in his future needs.

STRUCTURE 

We started our operations in 1997 in the name of M/s Direct To Customer. We had been associated with Videocon in the beginning for their Info channel products. Later in the year 2000 we partnered with Samsung as their distributor in the institutional sales.

AREAS OF OPERATION

 

Now we are dealing with Samsung Digitall Products and Home Appliances. This range covers Pannel TV, Home Theatres, Refrigerators, Washing Machines, Microwave Ovens, Air Conditioners, Mobile Phones and Tablets.
We have focused in areas of Institutional (CSD,CPC, NON CSD, INCS , Govt. Institutions & Corporate Segments) . We have specialized team for Key Corporate requirements. More than 30 PSUs and around 100 Private firms are our clients. We are also working for activities like co-branding, promotions etc. For catering CSD,CPC and Non- CSD Segments we have started an exclusive unit named as D2C Business ventures, a sister concern of Direct to Customer, Acel Towers, Kadavanthara, Cochin.
Also we have associated with TTK Prestige Ltd and ITC Ltd for their INCS/CSD and CPC Canteen sales in Kerala.

It gives me an immense pleasure to present credentials of Canteen Store DTC., the most progressive organization in the region providing Consumer Electronics, Mobile phones and other computing products to the defence personnel of the country, always keeping in mind the interests of our Clients at large. Canteen Store DTC is fully committed to being at the forefront in serving the people who have bravely served our country.

Though our successful journey began in 1997 and has been fulfilling since, over the years we have grown to be professional in our approach, built on our expertise, gained credibility. Since we opened our doors 26 years ago we’ve grown to become the leading CPC and CSD supplier of the State.

Our biggest strength is the team. I am nothing without the great people I get to work with daily. As a head of the Organization, I am always of this opinion that ethics and business go together.
